Bagels and a Bundtpan

You might have read all about my bagel adventure her at Pale Rose a few weeks ago. Well, the story continues as Mom and me decided to bake some more...

Cause once you've tasted your own bagels, it sure makes you hungry for more :) This time shaping the bagels into perfect rings went a little easier, because mom lend me a hand.

As you can see in this picture they have a less handmade look & though the others had their charm, I prefer a nicer smoother ring. Again we added poppy seeds, as we had loads left over from last time & also because we did not have sesame seeds or other seeds to top them with in our pantry.

Twelve beautiful bagels fresh from the oven. Smelling delicious and tasting pretty good too! The whole cottage smelled of bagels. Last I shall add a picture of my charity shop find. A beautiful blue Bundtpan to bake a small cake with. Didn't really need a mini Bundtpan but couldn't ressist this cutie pie ;) Especially with the bargain price of € 0,80. So we have this small treasure bringing color to Pale Rose.

Have you baked any bagels this week? Found a treasure at the charity shop? Do tell us all about it, we'd love to know!

Best wishes,
Jo's Daughter
