Cooking like a Snail



Sometimes cooking with lots of steps and ingredients is going at the pace of a snail. But today we, mom and me, worked together and before we knew it it was ready to serve. We made little mushroom tartelettes. With amongst other things, sundried tomatoes, white beans and pinenuts in them. It took some time but spending said time with my mom is always the best...



The tartelettes turned out rather nice looking & eating them with a salad was a reat treat! Something else that was nice was spotting a tiny snail on the leaves we gathered for our nature table. Look at those tiny eyes & that cute home the snail is “carrying”. After we took a picture we placed the little one in our cottage garden. Where it may find it’s way around again.
